Hopechest December 2003 - November 2004

We found this Hope Chest in bad condition at a furniture outlet store. It's made by Furniture Traditions and matched our bedroom set exactly! It had water damage on the bottom, big gouges on the top, and some of the hardware was broken. But other than that it was in great condition! And about 1/6 of the cost of a new one. I sanded it down to bare wood and refinished it with Minwax stain to match the existing pieces. The folks at Furniture Traditions were nice enough to replace the broken hardware (Great company)!
